There is no cost to attend and appetizers and refreshments will be served. Heart healthy educational materials will be freely available as well. All participants can register to win a free overnight stay at the Doubletree by Hilton. To reserve your spot, please call 1-800-326-1811.

The two hospitals established Partners Heart in 1993 based on community need. Although both hospitals had approval from the state to create their own programs, they determined that it would be more beneficial to the community if they combined their resources and extensive expertise into one solid service.

Its purpose is and was twofold, to eliminate the need to travel out of the area for cardiac care and to offer one of the best heart surgery programs anywhere.  With thousands of open heart surgeries performed since the program’s inception, that mission remains steadfast today and recently has been rated among the best in quality care outcomes when compared to other hospitals by the Society for Thoracic surgeons.

Partners at Heart is a comprehensive cardiac service including diagnosis, treatment, surgery, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and community education. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in this country, with one out of every three deaths the result of heart disease and stroke. To combat these statistics, Partners at Heart helps hundreds of individuals annually by providing free educational programs, materials, presentations, a support group, and other resources for the community.
