HealthAccess is a service provided by Port Huron Hospital to the residents of St. Clair County and it's surrounding areas since 1989. It is staffed by registered nurses who will give you the individual attention you deserve with the quality you have come to expect from Port Huron Hospital. Although we are not an emergency service and cannot diagnose (only a doctor can ), we pride ourselves in giving you the help you need with a quality you can trust.

Confidentiality

In order to assist you in the best possible way we will need to know some personal information like age, gender, and location. All information is kept completely confidential so you can feel comfortable discussing even the most sensitive subjects with our professional staff.

Services

Symptom Assessment - Call us and we will assess your health issue - whether you're just not feeling well or have had a minor accident - and give you the most appropriate care advice. It might be as simple as what to do at home or as serious as making a call to 911. Although we are not an emergency service and cannot diagnose (only a doctor can ), we pride ourselves in giving you the help you need with a quality you can trust.

Health Information - We will help you locate, understand health information and decipher those medical words that you find confusing. All of our information is current and obtained from printed resources and a sophisticated computer system.

Physician Referrals - The doctors we refer to are on staff at Port Huron Hospital and have indicated they are accepting new patients. If you don't know the type of doctor you need we will discuss your concerns with you and make a recommendation that will best fit your needs.

Service Referrals - We have an extensive data base of information about all kinds of services.

Program Information and Registration - Port Huron Hospital offers many classes and programs. Check out our calendar of events and register online or contact us to register. For your convenience you can register over the phone by credit card.
