Port Huron Hospital Scholarships

Port Huron Hospital and their Auxiliary offers several scholarships for individuals who are studying for careers in healthcare professions. The following scholarships are awarded to individuals to assist with tuition, purchasing books, lab fees or room and board expenses:

Theron and Eleanor M. Godbold Nursing Scholarship

Scholarships for a minimum of $1,000 to students enrolled in or accepted into an accredited RN program, who have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0

Shirley Jardine Carter Memorial Scholarship for Physical Therapy

Scholarships for a minimum of $1,000 to students enrolled in or accepted into an accredited physical therapist or physical therapist assistant program.

Ellen Ross Graduate Nursing Scholarship

Must be a Port Huron Hospital Employee for two years pursuing a MSN degree

ETC Scholarship

• Must be a Port Huron Hospital Employee, or contract worker donating to the ETC
• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master Degree at an accredited college or university
• Degree must be applicable to a recognized Hospital position

Employee Scholarship

• Must be a Port Huron Hospital Employee
• Degree must be applicable to a recognized Hospital position

Port Huron Hospital Auxiliary Scholarships

Scholarships for those planning healthcare careers. Special preference is given to Blue Water area residents, but is not limited to area residents. Auxiliary scholarships are awarded based on need.

• Registered nursing applicants should be in their final year of education.
• LPN candidates should be in their final semester.

The completed application should be returned to the Port Huron Hospital Volunteer Office, 1221 Pine Grove Avenue, Port Huron, MI 48060 Applications can be obtained in the Port Huron Hospital Gift Shop or on the website starting in March. The deadline for returning applications is May 15.
