  • Payroll Taxes paid to the City of Port Huron: $399,575
  • Spending on Purchases in St. Clair County: $5,040,818
  • Scholarships awarded to 12 students: $17,700
  • Donations to local food banks and organizations collected from hospital and physician office employees: 6,640 pounds of food and $1,000
  • The American Cancer Society: $8,232
  • The American Heart Association Blue water Heart Walk: $1,480
  • McLaren Port Huron employee donations for the March of Dimes:  $4,893
  • McLaren Port Huron employee donations raised for United Way:  $41,400

Programs and Events

  • More than 18,000 people took advantage of our free and low cost programs, screenings, events and support groups
  • 4,336 people attended Foundation community outreach programs
  • 1,255 children were reached through Helmet Safety activities sponsored by the Foundation and 448 free helmets were given away
  • 460 people attended the Town North Ice Cream Social on National Night Out
  • 417 parents and children attended the hospital’s annual Children’s Fun and Fitness Festival.
  • 1,120 children and parents attended Family Read Nights
  • 817 children and parents were helped at the Capac Backpack and Food Giveaway - 558 free backpacks given away
  • 2,132 airings of the McLaren Port Huron Today's Health television program were seen in an area bounded by Mt. Clemens, across through Troy to the south and Capac through Croswell-Lexington to the north.
