The Wound Healing Center

The Wound Healing Center at Port Huron Hospital offers the only specialized center in the area dedicated to treating chronic wounds. We follow evidenced-based practices using processes and procedures that have been tested in dozens of centers nationwide. A physician panel headed by Medical Director John Brooks, MD, treats patient wounds and collaborates with referring physicians. During treatment, the patient continues to see their primary care physician for all of their other health needs. The Port Huron Hospital Wound Healing Center is located on the third floor of the Wismer Health Center.
